Who we help

Public sector

“Innecto provided a deep level of expertise, creativity and knowledge to help guide our decision making. What set them apart from other consultancies was their ability to quickly become one of the team, leaving our own team stronger for it. I see them as a real alternative to the big consultancies.”

Strategic reward for a challenging environment

Brexit, the national living wage, scrutiny of executive pay, and increasing budget cuts are just some of the challenges facing HR leaders within the public sector.

A report by the Local Government Association published in February 2018 suggests that local services in England face a funding gap of almost £8 billion by 2025. These financial challenges are driving the development of new and innovative ways of operating, such as sharing services. However, for this to be successful HR must become more agile and proactive to facilitate and manage change.

Managing human resources strategically is one of the most efficient ways to achieve major transformations of public organisations. We work with our clients in the public sector to leverage their reward spend and develop a more commercial and business focused approached to their strategy development.

Where appropriate we will recommend best practice, introduce the strategic implementation of HR tech and provide you with the complete toolkit to use analytics to evidence and inform decision making.

The employee value proposition in the public sector in general has been impacted by CSR and it’s becoming increasingly crucial for organisations to look at reviewing and restructuring pay and benefits propositions, to ensure they are flexible enough to reflect the market and compete with the private sector.

We work with our clients to develop strategies and inform decision making, enabling you to continue to retain and attract the talent you need to remain effective and dynamic in these challenging times.
